Endoscopy and Colonoscopy prep?
In 2 weeks i'm being admitted into the hospital for getting ready for a Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. I'm getting a tube in my nose down to my stomach, where i'll be getting this laxative instead of drinking it.. I was told I might throw up from it going past my throat I am TERRIFIED of throwing up/gagging in general. Someone please tell me what to expect....thank you..

What? I've never heard of such a thing in an otherwise healthy person.
There are many different colonoscopy preps, none of which require a nasogastrric tube, unless you've had a stroke or are at some other risk for aspiration.
People who cannot tolerate the routine prep can be put on a liquid diet for a few days, and given less strong laxatives over the course of a day.
