frequent lockups on my dell computer?
I have had this new computer since 2007 (I think) anyway b/c I have a cable modem from time warner that I had on a previous system I have been getting frequent lockups and messages of "internet explorerr not responding". What can I do to fix this? do I need a new cable modem?

It's not the modem! Try updateing first at windows update, then when you have all the latest updates go to Cnet.com and download EXACTLY this: Advanced system care 3.1 It's totally free to use and keep!
