What initial speed does the child have if the angular speed of the system after the collision is 0.485 ?

MI of 550 @ 2.4 meters is same as 95.5 kg @ 2.4 m
momentum for .485 m/s = 95.5 x .485 = 46.31 kg-ms
46.31 / 35kg (child) = 1.323 m/s velocity of child
