I will be entering high school this fall, and I'm extremely nervous. It's a very overcrowded school with some cool people, and some that wish they could be thugs. I'm excited, but nervous; what should I expect on the first day?
Update:I would love true stories! Good or bad.

Highschool can make you or break you. For me, it nearly broke me.
I went to an EXTREMELY religious and Christian highschool. I was neither religious or christian. I was born and raised a catholic, atheist by choice. My highschool was VERY republican and VERY wealthy, I was rather poor, and very Democratic.
I had very few friends -- They were mainly the ones who viewed life as I did. We were the "outcasts", especially because my boyfriend was a poser-goth at the time.
When it came to the bush/kerry elections, I had a "Bush is a liar" sticker in the back window of my car, and I promptly had the ever living **** beaten out of me -- I kid you not. I suffered a hairline fracture in one of my ribs, NUMEROUS bruised ribs, a split lip, road burn, bruises, cuts and scrapes. It was absolutely horrible and I never wanted to go back to highschool.
However, I stuck it through, graduated, and now I'm out of that hell hole forever. Bwee hee hee!
Don't expect anything besides boring speeches about the 1st day of high school and then you'll enjoy the day. Live a little and expand your horizons get out there and make yourself popular by being yourself and having people enjoy your company!
