i cant get my itunes to open it has an error message and i just got a new ipod so i need to download the newest version but then when i try to it says that it can because the old version.
i went to my computer and clicked un-download or whatever and it just showed an error message.
Update:and obviously if just downloading it was the issue i would have already done that :)
it says the feature you are trying to use is on a network rescource that is unavailable...

Just download the newer version from apple (it's free) and install it over the old version. Here's the download link:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download the file to your desktop, run it, follow the installation instructions, and you will have a brand new itunes for your brand new ipod.
There is nothing called "un-download". If you wish to uninstall a program, you do it by going to Control Panel and selecting Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista/Windows 7)
