You can only delete open questions yourself via the Edit button.
Resolved questions with a best answer and undecided questions in voting cannot be deleted by users and go into a database that can be used for searching. They can only be deleted by Yahoo!.
All you can do is hope it is reported as a violation even resolved questions can be removed that way.You could try emailing the YA team [email protected]
explaining as to why it (they) should be deleted,. however Yahoo will only delete questions if they violate the community guidelines or reveal personal contact information (e.g. email address, phone numbers, address etc).
The same as above pretty much applies to your answers.
Only open questions may be deleted. Once they are in voting or resolved, they become the property of Yahoo and go to their archives. They even stay there if you quit YA entirely.
To delete an open question go to your profile, go to "my questions". Click on the question you wish to delete, underneath it click "+", then click "delete question".
Option: According to the YAT (yahoo team) questions may be deleted upon request by you which are violating the TOS or community guidelines. One example: if a YA newbie asks to send info to his/her mail account and posts the factual mail address, he may realize too late that spammers start flooding his mail account after finding the address on YA. In that case a mail could be sent to: [email protected] (the missing e is intentional), the mail should include a link to the question which you'd like to get deleted with an explanation for the reason why.
