Looking for a sweet dessert containing at least casava, coconut, raisins, sugar. My mother & grand mother used to bake this dessert in oven; Please help me find it as they are both gone now!
Update:thank you libby & desichef for your replies. I shall try both and do a taste test. Now do you know the java/indo name for this recipe? My brain has come to a complete halt on what my mother & grandmother called it. GMother was from Jave originally. TIA

Javanese Cassava Cake
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup raw grated cassava
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup raisins (plumped)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Few grains salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Mix cassava with milk and egg; let stand for 5 minutes. Cream butter and sugar; add cassava mixture and coconut to creamed butter and sugar. Mix batter well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add to butter. Stir in vanilla extract & raisins, and turn batter into an oiled and floured 8-inch square cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done. Cut into squares or rectangles.
