i love michael jackson and was shocked when the KING OF POP passed away last year. Lately i've been getting into madonna, and do not want to offend anyone, but IF Madonna died, do you think her death would have the same impact on the world as Michael Jackson's? Do you think the world will grieve, tv and radio playing her songs again, her music and albums setting the charts on fire? Tell me your honest opinions because she is the QUEEN OF POP and i would miss her too like MJ.

Well... Michael Jackson was about to retire at his 50's. I think... He caused more impact, because he was trying to make a comeback and The 'This Is It Tour' was supposed to be great.
The big difference is that Madonna has no intention to retire and her musical legacy will probably be bigger than Michael's. Her death will probably have a bigger global impact, becouse she's into political, social, religious and humanitarian stuff.
But... Future generations will see that.
Michael Jackson will be remembered for his stunning and unique music. Madonna more than just her amazing music, will be considered as an historical figure as well.
At the end of day, you just have to love their work, to appreciate how much they fought for change the world and they did, they changed many lifes around the world.

I definitely think when Madonna passes it will make a big impact on the world but not NEARLY as much as Michaels. His death was a sudden shock and I think it was worse because he was going to do one last tour. I loved Michael Jackson but I don't love Madonna.

perhaps, michael jackson had true fans because he went through a lot, madonna -no offence, hasn't had the trials and things as michael did, although she may of had her own experiances. it's depends on the fans
micheal jackson could consistently be a much bigger impact. whilst singers in this united states and over seas are interviewed and that they are asked approximately their impacts ninety % of the time they say micheal jackson and janet jackson.
