I know I'll need a security clearance but all I wanna know is after I take the DLAB I think is what it is will I get a chance to learn a language

provided you have kept your nose clean, have no criminal record of any kind....and provided you clear MEPS *frak, how I hated those trips to baltimore..* on all blocks, you ought get the MOS you desire. Keep in mind your precise score on the ASVAB does not necessarily gaurantee your choice, the military is being very choosy and a little fickle right now. Assuming you scored high enough to make your recruiters eyebrows wiggle when you started jumpin up and down for Intel, you will likely get what you want cos those boys and girls are always trying to get the cream of the crop. If you DO make Intel, you would have to try to get in line with a F.D.S deployment that would require you being bi or multi lingual. These days, arabic languages are "all the rage" because of where current deployments are routed. Your best bet for a career in intel is a four year degree that will admit you entry into OCS ..I know that is a navy term, I do not know if the USMC uses the same title...as a comissioned officer, you are
I dont know what William is talking about BUT you only will study a new language for intel linguist jobs, not regular intel. You only take the DLAB if you're going for linguist/interpretive intelligence jobs. And you dont get to pick the language. You really can't study for the DLAB either because it doesn't use REAL words and grammar from languages, it's weird, it's all about how well you can interpret different things. Whatever you pick up the best is what language they will give you. You might mess around and get chosen to learn Arabic which SUCKS, and you'll be stuck out in the sandbox. Some people love the linguist job but I'd avoid it and just do regular intel or cryptology
