You should talk with your pediatrician, It depends how much and how often. You may not be burping him enough, or moving him around to much during and after eating, But he could have reflux and maybe he isn't getting enough food. His pediatrician may have to prescribe medication if this is the case.
We had this same problem with our son. Make sure you burp him frequently during the feeding. Also, sit him upright for about 20min after each feeding. This helped a lot with our son. If this doesn't work you might have to switch formulas. We use soy formula now because our son would puke after each feeding. Remember there is a difference between puking and spitting up. Ask your doc. Hope this helps.
Spit up and puke are actually sorta different. Spit up is a little and is normal. Puke is throwing up nearly all of it and is projectile. Spit up is normal. Puke is not, especially if its regular. They have a little flappy thing that separates the airway and the food way. I believe in newborns it may be underdeveloped in some and can cause spit up.
My daughter threw up constantly no matter how good she was burped. The doctors tell you don't put rice in their formula, but a little helped her keep hers down. She also was NOT allowed to lay down after eating...always propped up or sitting for about 30 minutes afterwards. Baby might be eating too much too quickly also. Might also need a soy based formula.
Talk to the pediatrician first, or try propping up, burping more, or slower/less eating.
If it's a lot of milk every single time, I'd check with your pediatrician.
Sometimes a little spit up looks like a lot because infants are so tiny. A little is completely normal, but if you are truly fearful your baby isn't getting enough, I'd check with the doctor. Sometimes the spitup looks more scary than it is, but you don't want your baby to lack.
If it is persistent, and you are breastfeeding, it may be something in your diet, i.e. spicy and milk are big culprits. If you are formula feeding, perhaps talk to your doctor about trying a new one.
it is oaky for a baby to spit up often a small amount like a mouth full of milk almost liek they held it in there mouth and let it run back out. It's not common for a baby to vomitt everything they eat after each feeding a baby should not vomit more than 1 or 2 feedings in a day. more than that you should consult your dr. also after baby vomitts wait about 30 to an hour before you feed again this will give they tummy time to settle and be able to keep milk down.
It depends on the amount he is spitting up. If it just goes on his shirt (or your shoulder) then all you have is a laundry problem.
If it is projectile (it lands a foot away from him and looks like the entire feeding) then it is a reflux problem and you need to discuss with your MD.
You will know he is getting enough food when he has 6-8 wet diapers a day and bowel movements on a regular basis too.
My friend just had this problem with her newborn. Try switching to formula or try a different kind of formula. My friends child pukes alot all the time actually but he has still gained weight. Watch his weight and if it continues to be a problem go to the dr. You might even just want to go to the dr first. As i am not a qualified dr
Depending on how much he is eating. Are you bottle or breastfeeding. Take into consideration how big his little stomach is compared to how much he is putting in there. That may be why he is puking after every feeding.
try burping him more often during his feedings. He might be getting alot of air. If he spits up alot all the time then you need to take him to the doctor. Good luck !
Yes. My 6 month old daughter still spits up her milk on me at least 3 times after each feeding. It is totally normal but if he seems in pain or uncomfortable,he may have GERD.

Discuss it with your pediatrician.
