Although I've been to Los Angeles many times, I am looking for some new hotels or motels. Usually I'm there when it's hot, so I'm willing to pay for a nice hotel like the Modrian or The Standard. I like hotels with pools and big, comfortable beds.

But since the weather is just mild, an outdoor pool isn't of interest. Any good hotels or motels that have an indoor pool? I was thinking of staying in West Hollywood to be close to some tourist attractions I'd like to see, but I will have a rental car. Places I once stayed at have gotten much more expensive over the years. For example, I used to stay at Shutters on the beach in Malibu, but now it's $400+ a night.

Any recommendations?
