Plastic track spikes?
I just started track this year so sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I just bought track spikes (Nike zoom rival s 5's) and there are black plastic spikes that came with them. Can I run with these in a meet or do I need to buy metal spikes? Because I've never seen anyone run with plastic spikes in. Also, they came with 2 flat ones, what are these for?

i just did track to and got eh same spikes. yes you can run in them, although i thought they were metal painted black. anyways, if they are flat toss them they are broken and won't help you. hope this helped!
