I have just read through my Haynes Manual, and read that my Laguna, a 1998 R reg, 2.0 RXE has something called Cruise Control.
Apparently I can set the car to cruise at a certain speed until I either press the clutch, brake or accelerator pedal where it will then reset.
My question is How do I set the cruise control, lets say I am going down the motorway and want to cruise at 60mph, how do i set this so i dont have to keep my foot on the accelerator.
Or is this NOT how the Cruise Control works.
Many thanks for reading and hopefully responding.

Yeah, that's how cruise control works. Now, I'm not familiar with the Laguna, so I'm going to tell you how it works in the Clio from the same years. To the right hand side of the steering wheel, next to the instrument cluster brightness adjuster, there should be a button with a symbol that looks like a clock. Press that, then use the buttons on the steering wheel (which should have a + a - and possibly set and reset written on them). Press the set button when you have reached the desired speed, and that is you.
Now keep in mind that's how it works in the Clio, so it might not be 100% correct. If it's not right, post it up here and I will look further into it.
