Over the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing strange pain in my lower abdomen.

I had the mirena coil fitted in sept 2012 and all was great. I haven't had a period since about October but was told this was normal.

It has only been since the start of December I have experienced pains and discomfort. I also feel a faint pulse very low down inside if that makes sense. The pain can sometimes stop me in my track bit other times it is just uncomfortable, these are not your usual period cramps. More sharp stabbing pains. Sex has also become painful when its deep. Also read somewhere about ectopic pregnancies with the coil so out of precaution took a test but luckily came back negative. Planning on phoning the docs tomorrow but any advice just now would be great as I'm a bit worried!
