I don't hate the DS bu my 4 year old cousin play it.

If you want more fun and features go with PSP

If you want basic functionailty, simplicity, and fun. Then go with DS

I'd probably go with the PSP. The DS generally doesn't have very many quality games, but it can play GBA games. But you're right, the PSP does have more features, and the games are definitely better on the PSP. Especially if you older (15+) the games on the DS might be too "kiddie" for you. The PSP has a richer selection of games, and a lot more features than the DS.

Remember, if you want to say a no to gaming, you can quit it and get a 8gb memory stick duo, go surf the internet (youtube, with special software @ your psp), watch movies after converting w/ PSP Video 9, listen to music, and watch slideshow images.
