I just bought a super nintendo and I tried to play it but it won't work on my TV. Does anyone know how I can get it to work?
Update:I have the red, yellow, white cable and the power cable. I have a sony TV and it's fairly new. I'm not sure what channel the SNES will work on though.

Well as long as you have the AV cables (yellow, white, red cables) hooked up correctly to your TV, have the channel set to the right input and when you turn the power on the red light turns on. Then everything should be working. So you should atleast see a black screen when you turn the system on. Do you see this? It should atleast flash whenever you turn the system on? If so then your game or system's pin connector is probably dirty and you'll need to clean them. You can try cleaning the games pin connector with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
There are other possible problems like your AV Cables not working, but most of the time those work. It's kind of rare for them not to.

1. What kind of Tv do you have? (HD?)
2. Do you have the A/V Cables (audio video - red-yellow-white)?
They look like this: http://tegames.co.uk/eBay%20images/SNES/GTC/SNES_A...
You can find the SNES/GameCube RCA cables on eBay. You can TRY EBGames or GameStop, but that's really trying your luck. Play N Trade will surely have them as they are truly old school. If this does not help, please be more specific. Thanks.
