I have a 13 almost 14 week old American Eskimo female puppy. Is it bad for them if they get waken while taking her nap? She has tear stains (their really really noticeable) and i want to know whats the best way to clean them? I know there are tear removal formulas but i don't want to hurt her if it gets in her eyes. She is very very little she only weighs 4 pounds btw.

Mostly, it's more kind to simply let a puppy sleep when it needs to. Dogs are very forgiving, however, so if you must wake her up then do so.
The best way to deal with tear stains is to buy a pup from parents who have no tear stains. It has to do with the structure of the eye and that's hereditary. Since you missed that opportunity, I can only tell you that most tear stain removers sold commercially only work a little bit at best.
There are some tear stain preventives on the market that are mixed with the pet's food. The only one I am familiar with is Angels' Eyes and it does work. Angels' Eyes contains an antibiotic but some of the other new, mix-with-food preventives do not contain antibiotics. I don't know if or how well the others work. You may or may not want to use Angels' Eyes for your dog.

You can get Angel Eyes at your vet and it helps with tear stains.
