I'm building a homemade longboard and right now I'm at the part where I have to glue and mold the board. My main question is: should I make it a rocker or camber? I really just plan on cruising around my neighborhood and ride it to school and stuff. I want something that can go fast and I also want it to be maneuverable. I will most likely also be going down hills but I wont be sliding. What is the main effects of camber or rocker? Also, if I choose to go with a camber, I won't be able to have a concave because this is my first longboard and I don't have a press or anything. So what do you guys think? Camber with no concave, or rocker with a concave?

I would say rocker because it is great for pushing. also it depends on how many plys and flexibility of wood you are using, for example 5 plys of bamboo wouldn't do well with a rocker because then you have the possibility of bottoming out
