I was in Cabo in June 2007. Golf is hugely expensive. You may want to see if your hotel has a special deal. I went roaming around the desert on a quad--which I thought would be more fun than golf--until I hit a mountain--LOL Cuban cigars--well about all you can do is throw them in your suitcase and hope for the best. Actually, you can buy cigars there made with Cuban tobacco but rolled in another country and those are legal to bring back. As for the *BUD* --well I am a 52 year old grandma so no one thought I would be in the market (I wasn't) but my son was approached nummerous times. The beach is where they seem to sell it the most. You gotta go to Cabo Wabo.
Hola! Yes you can. In fact there are several shops dedicated to just that (cuban cigars), as well as almost every sports bar here sells them too. J&J's Habanos at the Marina, Habano Club has 3 locations, The Cigar Co. is on Matamoros & L. Cárdenas in Cabo.
However, if you live in the USA you will not be able to bring them home with you. If you live in Canada and must travel through the USA to get home, you also cannot bring them (legally that is). Smoke your brains out while you are down there!
