What supplies would I need to make my own bouquets/corsages/bouts?
I got a pretty good idea, but I don't want to buy anything that's not necessary either.
I'm going to be using lily's and orchids for the bouquets/corsages and Daisys for the bouts if that helps any.
thanks :)

I made the floral arrangements and bouquets for a wedding and they turned out beautifully, so I think you'll really enjoy this experience :
An essential is a small pair of wire cutters, because you'll need to shorten stems and separate pieces.
For bouquets it is easiest to buy the 'base' which has a handle...a decorative edge...and a foam center that you stick the flower stems into.
For arrangements, fill your container with florist foam (if you want a tall arrangement you will allow the foam to reach above the rim. I begin by covering with greenery and THEN adding the flowers. If you are doing matching arrangements (like altar arrangements) then put both containers side by side and go back and forth between the two so that they will look much the same in height and fullness, etc. (Florist wire is helpful here because you can join several blooms together and THEN insert them into the foam.
If you have a hot glue gun, that will also come in handy along the way as well.
(Don't forget to check out the 'crystal stems' and 'pearl stems' that are available in the wedding section of the craft store...they are beautiful in your bouquets and arrangements.)
For the bouts an corsages you'll need green florist tape and corsage pins.
If you happen to have a 'warehouse' type store in your area (this is where these things are sold wholesale to florist shops but they usually will also sell small quantities as well), you'll get excellent prices on everything that you need and an incredible selection to choose from. Have fun!!
You can find everything you need at the dollar store or craft sore.
1. wire
2. green flower tape
3. Ribbon
