Okay so me and my friend smoked k2 out of a pen that was mine and i made it into a smoking device. When we were finished my friend put it in his pocket. The next day someone at school found it in his pocket and turned him in. He got drug tested from the cops and came out clean. Now he got a letter in the mail saying he is on trial for drug paraphernalia. He is getting a lawyer and pleading innocent. When the cops asked him he said it was his friends but didn't give any names even when they asked. Should i be scared? He won't rad me out but will they dna test it or fingerprint test it since he is pleading non guilty? Or no since they caught him with it on him. I don't want to get involved. Do you think i will?

You have nothing to fear, even if your friend does rat you out and you live in a State with laws against synthetic cannabinoids. If you do live in a State that has laws against K2 and its brethren, most of them were so hastily written that they are easy to assail and refute by any decent attorney. Your buddy got an attorney. I'm sure he or she is fine. Stop worrying. Drink your milk. Go to school.

If he won't rat, you're fine. Even if he does get a lawyer (which is ridiculous) they'll probably find him guilty assuming it even gets that far. The prosecutor will probably just offer a plea bargain in exchange for a guilty or no-contest plea. Relax. No DNA testing will occur lol.
If you've never been arrested before or if they have no reason to suspect you (ie. your friend doesn't rat you out), then they won't have any DNA/fingerprint samples to compare what's on the pen anyway.
