I really want to get into dentistry at uni, but I sat the maths c1 exam yesterday and I found it horribly difficult, I think I've done badly, have I still got any chance of getting into dentistry?
Honestly speaking, it was the worst exam of my life so far. I thought the chemistry exam last week was bad. Oh lord, this maths exam blew everything out the window. It was NOTHING like the past papers. I left so many questions blank because I ran out of time. Gaaahhhh I think I lost about 25 marks, haha... Maths never was my strong subject. Dont know why I took it. I didn't revise thoroughly enough, but man, I found that exam really hard too. At my school, most people thought it was pretty bad. Although some people in my class said 'it was easy' they were in the minority. Hopefully the grade boundaries will be low.
Even if you don't get an A grade, and end up with a B, or a C (which you probably won't), if you work hard at the other maths exams this year, you can still drag your overall AS grade to an A. It's all about the UMS marks.
Remember, if you don't get the grade you wanted for this exam, not all hope is lost! Stay focused for statistics and c2, and drag your grade back up. That's what I'm going to have to do too =___=
Good luck with your results and other exams etc!
Oh, and most people are saying that it will definitely be below 60/75 for an A grade.
