Can someone please recommend the best organizations for animals-endangered, abused, and homeless? For me, this is the absolutely most important cause because I love animals but cannot support PETA because of their 'shaming' approach and a horrible article recently (I don't want to say what it was to upset anyone). Can someone please recommend the best organizations for animals-endangered, abused, and homeless? I support PETA. HALO, Alley Cat Allies, ASPCA and Paws Atlanta. If you search your area you will find no kill animals shelters.

And the ASPCA is not a no kill facility. It isn't a facility at all. It is an organization that doles out its contributions to other groups to help prevent cruelty to animals.

Every year more than 4 million animals are euthanized in this country.

Ducks Unlimited is a great organization. They donate millions of acres of wetlands across North America to water fowl conservation. Not only does this help ducks but pretty much every species of wild animal found in North America
