I make it through life all right and I think I come across normal when talking to people mostly, I have friends...but sometimes I'll ask a question or say something about a social norm or something and people will be confused and laugh and insult me for asking a stupid question.
What's wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you, the people with the problem are those stuck in the social norms about everything.
That's a really difficult one to answer. My father has that social problem. I have it to a degree. I try filtering what I say before I say it. Give it a try. If you aren't 100% sure it wont come across as weird or unusual, then don't open your mouth. You may regret not expressing yourself at the end of the day, but at least you'll have your pride. Once you become aware, you can start making changes.
BTW, you are not a social outcast. I haven't even left my house in 3 months. I think you'll be fine.
Its either autism, or you have a different sense of humour from them. I feel it all the time, so you're not the only one. You will find people like your self out there....
orrr. they have an attitude problem...so then there is nothing wrong with you, that's unless you said something cruel and offensive and upset them?
It is possibly the watermelon mounted on your head.
