How long after u got ur license did u get into an accident?
i got my license 2 weeks ago and i got in my first accident yesterday...
i turned too quickly onto a dirt road and slid.
and when i tried to straighten the car it veered to the right and i put it in the woods.
luckily i wasnt hurt and neither were my friends.
it was a small drop from the road and we hit some small dead trees.

what license? I never needed a license to get in an accident. You have learned a very important lesson, when you are in a car full of people all yakking, YOU AS THE DRIVER, CAN NEVER, EVER LOSE FOCUS OK? AT SLOW SPEEDS, things happen quickly as you found out, Its good no one was injured, and in the future pay 100 % attention to where your front end is going to be in the next 100 feet, at 30 mph your life can change in the blink of an eye,. No matter what is going on in the car, the driver has to remove himself from ANY DISTRACTIONS. there are way too many decisions you need to make every second, and that's without having a conversation, Or listening to the stereo. So be safe, for the rest of your life, don't lose focus for a second on the front wheels or where they are going to be, That could have easily been ONE BIG FOUR FOOT WIDE TREE OK? and this conversation might have never happened at all, Best of luck, that was your freebie tree running over experience, please do not try that again. thank you.

18 months after i got my permit, 6 after i got my licence
I looked to the right to see if this car that was inching out was going to pull out in front of me and i looked back to the car in front of me and it was going negative 40mph at me. I took out a pillow and LAYED on my break but couldnt stop the car in time. MINOR fender bender, i probably was going 5mph by the time i hit the van so all i had to replace was the hood but it was scary, like a bad dream and i have never been in an almost accident situation since.
