I'm a senior in high school and my AP statistics teacher just informed me that she's giving me an incomplete. I was sick for a really long time and missed the midterm and a quiz.
Can anyone tell me what an incomplete means? And is there a way to make up the 2 things I missed and change it into a letter grade?
Any answer is appreciated. Thank you.

Your teacher is actually doing you a favor. Instead of giving you a zero for the missing work, she is placing you in an incomplete status to give you time to make up the work. Meet with her to see what is still required and how long you have to submit the work (usually only a few weeks). Ask if there will be any penalties (drop a letter grade) since it is being turned in late, so you will know what to expect. Be sure to thank her for giving you the extra time to get the work done, as many teachers would not have done the same.
An incomplete just means that you haven't done all the assignments. When you complete the midterm and quiz, she'll give you your final grade. You should try to do that ASAP.
