are the les paul special 2s by epiphone good because i am thinking about getting one. right now i have a peavy srat and it has very bad sound quality and the frets are cheap and too much feedback. Should i get a new guitar or stick with the old one? i am actually pretty good

I actually own an Epiphone Les Paul Sp. II, and it's a great deal for the price. Check http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ and your local Guitar Center for a good deal. Musician's Friend has them right now for $199 and free shipping. Comes with a little practice amp, sunburst pattern. Rock on.
