I am looking to travel to london on tuesday but having problems working out what to do and how much it will cost me.
I will travel to Brentwood train station by car. From there I plan to catch a train to liverpool street at approximately 2pm. I will then only use the underground central line only throughout the day and wish to arrive home from liverpool street to Brentwood at approximately 11.30pm.
What ticket should I look to be buying?
Could I buy a travel card (would it have to be 'off peak' or 'on peak')?
Will a travel card get me on to the rail train from Brentwood as well as the tube (or will I need to buy separate tickets) ?
Any suggestions would be great. Any links or actual prices welcome :)
thanks,

You can buy an off peak return from Brentwood inclusive of a travel card for £13.90, valid on any train at the times you mention (other than the 13.37 when you would have to pay £14.30). This will cover all your journeys.
Any reason you are going to Brentwood ?
You would be better off going one stop nearer to Harold Wood and catching the train there. A one-day Off Peak Zone 1-6 TravelCard from there is only £8. I think all the trains from Brentwood also stop there so it won't make any difference for the trains.
it extremely is particularly perplexing to those outdoors the united kingdom yet final visit i offered the oyster card it expenditures 3pounds for the cardboard- it extremely is like a clever card- you load money on it and once you touch In & Out on the Tube/Buses etc it immediately deducts the backside fare and can be used the two height and stale height hrs.] only shop a watch on how plenty is left on the cardboard- it is going to shown up on the touch Pads. you may upload greater money to it at any Tube/Rail station at lots of the machines there yet another earnings of the oyster card is which you do no longer could cope with the zones or height fares i might say for greater a week the Oyster is the thank you to pass and you will use it returned next time or pass it directly to a pal.

Yes you can buy a ticket with a travelcard include.
Buy a return at Brentwood, and ask for a travel card to be included on your card.
Otherwise buy a one day off peak travel card from Liverpool Street Underground station when you get there.
