memtest run correctly?
i ran memtest..i dont think it ran correctly or something because it ran for more than 4 hours and it still did not finish.
at around 2 hours it found like 500 errors.. then i took a nap and at 4 hours it found something like 3 million errors.
does memtest only test for problems with your ram? or what?

It only tests the RAM. Based upon those results, you either have one or more bad sticks of RAM, or problems with the sockets on the motherboard. Pull out all of the RAM and test each stick individually to isolate the problem.
