My crush likes someone else.. a lot?
And I know this. I know this for a fact. Because of course, IM the one he confides in. And every time he talks about how bad he wants her but cant have her I feel like I die a little more on the inside. The worst part is he led me on for a long time saying he liked me, and almost asking me to the dance, and I was starting to fall for it when he just decides to completely spill his guts to me about how much he likes another girl. He doesn't mean to do it, he's really a sweet guy he just has horrible timing. Scratch that, the worst part is that the girl he likes is my best friend and I know for a fact that she would never date him.. so I have to tell him for her. I have to break his heart for her. Please help me get through this.

Stay out of other peoples love lives - you'll get burned eventually [pretending you aren't already getting burned now].
You best friend has a voice, tell her to use it and not use you for her dirtywork.
Think about it, you're breaking someone's heart over something you have zero to do with over a decision that's not even yours. That's wacked, and I sure wouldn't ask any friend of mine to speak for me, or take the hit for it... that's not being a friend.
I can speak for myself, surely your friend can also - and should be.
