I really want to lose 9 pounds. I am 5'5-5'6 and I weigh 114 right now. I have been relapsed into my anorexia in the last month and I really want out. I want to eat healthy but lose the weight. I am also a dancer and dance about 3-6 hours of dance a day. However, when I eat normally and do not count calories and dance on top of this I maintain my weight I do not lose anything. Any tips?

I weigh about the same but I'm about an inch shorter than you are. I could have told you that you were relapsing because you want to lose 9, not 10, not 5, but the very specific number. The difference between 105 and 107 isn't just 2 pounds for us, it is the difference between succeeding and failing. I was diagnosed about 6 months ago, but I've been strggling with the 2 pound battle for years.
I know how much you want to lose the weight, but also want to be healthy. I'm doing my best to follow my nutritionist, yet I will always want to lose those extra 4 pounds. For me, it has been recognizing that whatever weight my body is at while I'm eating well is what it is uspposed to be at. We weren't meant to be 105 if we have to follow our tendencies to get there...I know it is really hard, but you will not be healthy at that weight. I will always want to go back to 109, but I can't if I'm choosing my health.
I know it probably consumes a majority of your thoughts every day. Its sooo hard to completely change how you look at yourself and your mindset and what food means, but you can email me anytime. Really. I know exactly what you're talking about. The way out isn't going to be losing more weight though.
I'm sorry about the last month you have had. I know how good it can feel, no matter how badly we want something different.
Dancing makes you lose weight. So keep it up with the dancing. If you wanna go on a diet maybe you should eat a small meal before 6:00, and after 6:00 eat fruits, vegetables, fat free yogurt, salad anything healthy. Make sure no junk food such as, fating ice cream, chips, pop, candy, chocolate, popcorn, carmel. All those are not healthy. I have been telling everyone this tip for a diet. My friend did this and lost weight. So i hope this helped.(:
always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge
Replace chips with salad to cut carbs
Regular water comsumption is more important because dehydration can make you thin you re hungry
Ask your self before eat
put down the soda for a calorie free glass of water
Don t keep snacks near to your bed
find an eating schedule that works for you every day and stick to it
swap creamy cheese for tomato or veggie based sauces on your pasta and meat dishes
