What @Mayu well wrote about school being about discovery, not career choices, is how I wished schooling was like. Sadly the recent British approach is to choose early. Too early?
As you've been forced to make a decision, it seems you like the idea of helping people, talking to them and using your 'soft skills'.
If you want to be a therapist, psychologist or similar, then you need to attain high academic results. These are chartered careers that require professional accrediation.
Then there's the middle ground of counselling. This can range from near to therapy level to basic certification. However, even at this lower level the work is very important and fulfilling.
To conclude, I advise focus on your exams (especially improve your English grammar and vocabulary), try to volunteer as a basic counsellor, then decide if it is right for you.
Hope this has helped...
I say tell whoever is making you make that choice to go to hell. .__.
When picking a career, pretty much no one knows what they want to be when they grow. Your feeling is normal. Most people change their college majors at least two times within the first four years of college.
If you don't know right now, that's ok. Just pick something you think will interest you, take the class, and go from there. But high school is a time for discovery. Not decisions.
