A few years ago I got a stafford loan to assist with school through Great Lakes/Discover. Recently my loan has been transferred to Sallie Mae.

Ever since dealing with them, it has been such a headache! I get charged late fees for paying my bill early and SO many other things.

My husband is the in the military and the school I am attending right now does not put me in deferment.

I was wondering if there was any way to transfer the loan to a better provider?? Preferably a military one?

If not, how can I pay this off sooner?? (I make more the minimum payments each month)
