I am 21 years old - will be 22 on Wednesday. I am going home today for a family funeral and will need a car.
I have had my drivers license since I was 17. I have heard that you have to be 25 to rent a car. Since I am so young - will I be able to get one? Also, with what company? Hertz? Budget? Dollar? Enterprise? etc?
I'm going to Indiana - if that makes a difference.
Thank you for all answers!

You will need to call the reservations center for each car rental company and ask. In New York, the law requires rentals to people over 18, but the rates are higher for renters between 18 and 25. It varies from state to state and from one car rental company to another.
25 and under you can only rent compact cars if your over 25 you can rent anything (full sized vans, std. luxury cars, ect.)
