Compaq Presario CQ61 Battery Isn't Charging.?
Hi Guys ! I need some help. I have a laptop, Compaq Presario Cq61 With windows 7. When I wanted to Plug in My Battery It appeared a Red "X" And It Said "Consider replacing the battery" I shutted down It and Removed the battery,then I started it again. It said "No battery is detected" Again, with a red "X". What should I do? I have it since the last year. I Think i should Buy another battery? Please help me.

Look on eBay for a replacement battery. This is caused by the user always leaving there laptop plugged in on charge. Never leave it on charge If your not using it. Also run the battery down to nothing every now and then to ensure it stays healthy

you may turn the system off. Remove the battery. Remove the power cord. Hold in the power button for 10 seconds. Put the primary battery back in, plug the power cord back in, it may be ok when you turn it on.

You shouldn't worry about it i once had the red x on my laptop but then it just disappear later in time
