My 1992 mazda b2200 has a brokin door lock and I want to order a brand new one frome the dealer but can they make it to match my key so I dont have to change all the locks
In some cases they can use your VIN number to get the correct key code for your car thus getting you the correct cylinder, if not then a locksmith can change the tumblers to match your key, cost more money though.
Some do and some do not. Many Door locks can be reworked by a qualified locksmith. If this is not possible with your B2200, then I have done this. Since the key is double sided, you can cut one pattern for the ignition on one side of the key and the pattern for the door lock on the opposite side of the key. Put the key in the ignition, try to turn it on. If it does not turn, reverse the key, it should work. When it does, leave the key in the ignition switch and mark the "ignition side" with a notch on the top of the key. You always put the key in the ignition with the notch up, and it will operate the ignition, turn it over and it will work the door with the notch down (usually).
Get the lock from the parts department and take it to an automotive locksmith and have them key it. Or ask the locksmith if they can get the cylinder for you and then key it.

No, you'll have one door (driver's door?) with a different key. Just live with it.
