Final Fantasy 8 prequel?
will square enix make a prequel for final fantasy 8 on the ps3 or psp just like crisis core as ff8 was a really good game and it could give us a better inseight of what happen before the Lunar Cry and the main characters for it Laguna, Kiros and Ward and it could tell us if laguna was really squall father.

its a nice idea and i do like part 8 more than 7...but i highly doubt this will ever happen...why??? ff7 is still considered by many as the best ff i disagree saying the best is part 6...either way my opinion and your doesnt matter to game developers at least when it comes to gmaes being sold..ff7 has what 5 to 6 spinoffs two shoprt animes..and a freakin movie ...thers no way there will be a prequal or sequal to ff 8 or 9 or 6 or so on...want more proof..there was development on a sequal to part 8 with the main party being siefer and his two crummy followers fuijin and raijin and that game was scrapped very early on in production many years ago theres is one pic somewhere floating around on the web....
They could... but they probably won't. FF8's fanbase is nowhere near as massive as FF7's. Square Enix could slap an FF7 label on a rock, call it materia, and people would buy it. While FF8 is popular, it's not FF7-popular.
