Alright so im 16 and a sophmore. Its my technical first year of high school cause our school district goes 7-9, then 10-12. Anyway it just hit me recently that i never really got into a sport, and i really think i should. It occured to me that all my friends are in one, (or mostly all) and i really want to get myself involved. The problem was I was kind of difficult when i was younger, saying i didn't want to try and all, and my dad never pushed me so im kind of in a rough spot right now. The point is i need to know which sport would be the easiest to just jump into and get involved in? My school is ironically very big on sports, so the kids that are involved are good. Its also difficult to get in due to the fact that my school has 1500 kids in it for Just JV and Varsity teams. Im in shape, but come off as having a smaller build. I'm 5'10, and my pure body weight (waking up in the morning) is 140lbs. I have started working out this year a great amount though, and im built with a lot of muscle. I have about 9% body fat and lowering. I dont train for running, but i have good running ability and can run about a 6:30 mile. What do you guys thinks the easiest sport to get involved in? Im really hoping to not get involved in soccer, and track wouldn't be my first choice. But please post your honest opinions. Thanks a lot!
Update:@Nick no offense taken haha, i already know. i hate my build.
@josh alright thanks ill consider it but of course swimming is the one that none of them do, and the kids that do swim in my school are amazing

I would say track is best for you since well no offense your not that tall or big so football and basketball wouldn't be the best ones for you. Well if u like physical action then maybe wrestling? But I would go with track, good luck.
I would recommend track. Soccer is not an easy game to play, and if you're school has some good soccer players, you'll just spend your trainings getting owned.
I've played the game for 14 years- its not one you just "jump" into.
I was in your same position when I was in 9th grade, I'm a junior now. I chose swimming. You'll get in the best shape of your life, and it works prettymuch every muscle
