Rio hotel in Las Vegas?
I'm going to stay there in awhile and wondered if anyone had any tips or advice for me. Any must-sees or -dos or avoid-at-all-costs. Any real life experiences are welcome.
My brother-in-law and myself. He's 18, I'm 28.
Flying in from Detroit.
Check in Friday, out Monday.

18 year olds have nothing much to do in Vegas! Must be 21 years of age or older to gamble and drink in the state of Nevada.
Go to the rides on top of the Stratopshere. They have a new one like it costs $99 to be cabled free fall off the top of the tower.

The Rio has a free shuttle to/from the strip, but so does the Gold Coast which is next door and the GC shuttle runs much more frequently and has a better stop >Bill's Gamblin Hall / center of the strip<

the rio imho is a nice hotel but not spectacular take advantage of the free shuttle it will save you $$$ in cabs don't want to scare you but you will see a lot of escorts inside the rio and a homeless person from time to time visit but do not eat at the voodoo lounge may be tough for your brother in law to get in see the show in the sky at rio and take in the other free shows in vegas like the volcano at mirage and fountains of bellagio and sirens of ti

The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino is a good place to stay. There are a lot of attractions near this where you can enjoy. Here you can enjoy nightlife and you will find good beaches to visit.

it is not on the strip but it is super nice. all their rooms are suite style. and if you go at the right time and gamble you can pay as little as 30 dollars for a night. i loved it there. also they have a free bus that takes you to the strip.
