I went through an episode where i didnt work out where i gained 50 pounds. I went from about 8% body fat (200lbs) to about 25% body fat (250lbs) just to give a picture of how wrong things went. The problem is my "pecs" stick out farther then my stomach which makes me look even fatter. Is there a way to get rid of this pec fat specifically (lifting preferably i know running would help, but that is much harder as i have pain in my ankles) but is there a workout that would specificly burn chest fat without adding more mass there?
Also to anyone out there 6 months can give you a potbelly if you just give up completely scary but true

Push ups would probably be the best thing, but running would really help. If you are hurting your ankles from running maybe you couls try running on softer ground such as grass or sand rather than cement.
Another thing that is really good for burning off fat in all areas of the body is jump rope, but that might go back to the ankles issue :/
the best thing to do would be push ups, push ups, and more push ups. try doing them and going as far down as humanly possible to work the muscles in your chest. youll gain muscle first, but after a while the fat will go away, they will get smaller and firmer. hope that helps
