I'm going to Las Vegas in August and I've been really wanting to see the Criss Angel/Cirque du Soliel show but I went online and read some reviews and read that it's really terrible. For those of you who have seen it? Is it really THAT bad? Would it be a waste of money/time?
And any other recommendations? :)

It is a hybrid show, trying to blend the originality of the Cirque de Soleil with the magic and notariety of Chris Angel. It doesn't work too well but it has played for close to two years so there must be something that pleases some people. Then again with the rotating visitors here and the tweeny loving fans of his it could go on for several years. Hard to say if you will like it or not. Everyone has different taste and expectations. I personally would not recommend the show to any of my friends.
So when I went we sat in the front and for some reason this guy dressed as a clown scared me out of nowhere and criss went down our row and shook our hands it was quite an odd moment haha! As for the show there really is no "magic" involved and it all just seems like a musical filled with more dancing. I wouldn't call it a magic show at all but a show to see dancers in odd but cute costumes. I'm really quite disappointed in both criss and cirque du soliel cause ka and le reve were great shows by them! I reccomend the show ka at the MGM grand which is by cirque du soliel
It really is horrible. I like Criss Angel's television show, but the Cirque show is nothing like it. All of the magic tricks he does in the show are magic 101 type of stuff... I mean pulling birds out of his sleeves, cutting a girl in half... real basic stuff. And a lot of the show is just video footage. You will be very upset if you spend your good money to see this piece of trash show. Cirque should really be ashamed of themselves for this one. Believe the bad reviews. If you want to see a Cirque show, I would highly recommend Mystere or O if you can afford it. If you are a Beatles fan, you'll probably really like Love too. With a lot of the Cirque shows it really doesn't matter too much if you are in the "cheap seats." You see the show from an entirely different perspective depending on where you seated. Blue Man Group is another popular show that I would recommend. I have also heard Jersey Boys is great, but I have not seen it.
This is a Cirque de Soleil show, with Criss part of the show but not the main feature, which is what people are complaining about. It is a good cirque but not major time featuring Criss
Yeah the Lion King was awesome!! They actors in the play do a very good job. I would rather see that over criss angel!
