I need a new guitar to record some of the sings I've written. It's mainly stuff like A day to remember or blink-182. I've narrowed my search down to a LP, the majority seem to think they're the best for the job.
So my question is which one, the LPJ or the LP studio tribute? Does the "studio" in LP studio tribute make it a "studio" guitar? Or do you perhaps have some other suggestion?

Bro, I meant the Les Paul J, not the Les Paul Jr.

Here's the link.
The name Studio does not imply it was made for studio work, just a name Gibson pulled out of their rear. Either one would be an excellent guitar. I think the biggest difference will be the pickups. I think the LPJ uses 490/498 pups and the Studio uses Dirty Fingers.
If you HAD to choose between those two, Les Paul Studios are pretty great (and I normally dislike most Gibsons)
