Men- do you consider Marilyn Monroe attractive?
My boyfriend and I recently got into a fight over this- he claims that she was a size 14-16 then which would translate to a size 8-10 today and said she was too fat to have been a Hollywood star today. I said that weight doesn't define beauty ect, but what I was wondering was do you find Marilyn Monroe sexy or attractive? Why or why not? And can we please not turn this into arguing about what size she actually was, and please no answers like "rotting corpses aren't attractive" it's immature and disrespectful. Thanks! :)

I think she was sexy, but it wasn't just her looks. Watch her movies and you'll see what I mean. She had a way of projecting sexiness in her demeanor.
You're completely missing the point of what he said. He was simply saying that she weighed too much to be able to work today in hollywood (or at least be as popular now as she was then) not that she was ugly. Obviously weight doesn't define beauty, but in Hollywood they have a certain type of body type that they want to hire and these days she isn't it. She just wouldn't get as much work these days, what he's saying is true.
