There are different types of sub categories within each voice type. Read the first article. You didn't mention how old you are but the first step is a teacher, if you are very young you may not have a mature voice and would have to wait. The second site is a link to opera workshops in Salt Lake City. You should attend and start collecting names of possible teachers. Next is the hard part. There are a lot of scam artists teaching music in all of the forms. Your voice is your instrument and unlike other instruments, it cannot be replaced. A bad teacher can do you irreparable harm so you must research teachers carefully. Be sure you choose someone with a Masters degree and is a Nationally Certified Teacher this will not be cheap. Musicians often spend as much for their musical education as someone who gets a medical degree. However if you destroy your voice in the process, you will have a lifetime of grief. Best wishes.
