Non compete contract question?
if i signed a non compete contract at a company but then leave the company for a competitor but work in a different field and job altogether would the other party have a valid case? ex i am in sales for cocacola but then go to pepsi for graphic design.

It would really depend on the exact terminology of the non compete. I signed a non compete once, but all it stated was I couldn't work for the same kind of business at the same time I was employed by them.
I would think once you leave someones employment, unless there was something specific in the contract, you are free to work where you wish, doing what you wish.
