Suns 4-3 over Nuggets. The Suns style of play allows other teams to get back in games because the Suns don't play great defense and rebounding is an issue for them. But they have enough playmakers to end this series. It's good for them that the Nuggets have the same issues, so beating them will be inevitable.

Spurs 4-2 over Lakers. The Spurs are they best defensive team in the NBA. They are the most complete team as well able to play a slow down game (which they prefer) or and uptempo game. The poor Lakers just have Kobe. And his greatness aside, one man cannot beat S.A.

Rockets 4-3 over Jazz. This would be the best series of the 1st round. The Jazz motion offense against the Houston's 1-2 punch of McGrady & Yao. Jerry Sloan is an amazing coach...a Hall Of Famer, but his team doesn't have enough experience to close them out.

2nd Round...

Mavs 4-3 over Rockets. Mavs too experienced too many weapons over the long haul. McGrady and Yao would be great, but not for the 4 games needed to close them out.

Suns over Spurs 4-3. Don't let today's game fool you. Phoenix doesn't miss those kinds of shots they missed today in playoff basketball. Don't expect Nash to turn the ball over 7 times a game.

Suns over Mavs 4-3. I'll still say that I just think that the Suns have their number, and beating the Spurs will give the Suns enough confidence to take the Mavs who are slipping. Plus, David Stern doesn't want to give that trophy to Marc Cuban.
