Hello, guys! I would like to know your thoughts about a good pedal partner for a distortion pedal. Your self-preferences about this thread and what kind of sound you can produce or make with that kind of combination. I have a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal, and I think it's about time to find a partner for this one. I'm thinking of buying the Boss BF-3 Flanger for some kind of experimental stuff and other classic rock made with this kind of effect, or maybe the Boss TR-2 Tremolo for the classic songs too. So, what pedal, in your opinion, should I partner with my Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal. Please don't tell me that "hey dude, it's your choice don't ask us", because I really really know that, almost all of the people say that all the time, what I just want to know here is your opinion about this kind of stuff, and I, myself, do have a personal choice so there's no need of reminding it again. Thanks!

I play by way of a Fender Deluxe with a Telecaster. you would be unable to triumph over Fender sparkling. it is so attractive sounding. I run all my distortions and outcomes by way of my stomp boxes. I have not any desire for an amp distortion. i'm no longer a extensive fan of the Mesa/Boogie's, yet i'm additionally no longer a extensive steel fan, that's probable why. Their amps lean extra in direction of distortion and that i'm an overdrive fan. however the Rectifier sequence is an exact notch amp in case you prefer to pass the Mesa course. Marshall makes the JCM 2000 that's between the suited amps ever made. sturdy cleans and a candy, classic overdriven sound. i'm no longer partial to Peavey in any respect. Their hayday is long long gone, and the only reason you may desire Peavey anymore is that in case you have the choose to make a super style of noise for much less costly. If I have been you i might look into the Orange Rockerverb amp sequence. it relatively is a bad*** amp sequence. and that i think of it could be versatile adequate for what you're eager to do. Orange has a candy overdriven sound and sturdy cleans, besides the undeniable fact that they could be slightly shiny. only dial the Treble back and the Mids up. wish that helps!
A Crybaby. but get a bunch over time. but def the wah first cuz everyone has one and its such an iconic sound
Try a phaser or a wah.
