I loved it. I thought Gurinda Chadha did a great job of fitting a Bollywood musical and modern sensibilities into the classic story. It is quite funny as well. The whole bit where the vicar (in P&P) comes to find a bride amongst the sisters is hilarious. If you don't like your actors randomly breaking into song, this isn't for you or your husband, but if you want to watch a fun, beautifully costumed and designed movie that bears resemblance to Pride and Prejudice, I do recommend it.
The movie's just not too good not to bad...I luv the songs in it(The indian one and No life without wife)...And i felt That aiswarya rai was fine in acting for the second time in her life
IT SUCKED!! They tried to make it something like "Pride and prejudice", but instead they just made fools of themselves. It was a musical and the acting was awful. CRAPPIEST & MOST PATHETIC ATTEMPT TO MAKE A MOVIE!
