I'm getting these horrible leg cramps and usually it happens the night or morning i wake up from sleeping. Although my weight is normal i struggle with keeping it that way. Sometimes I'll be over weight and other times I'll be normal.
I do drink alcohol, but not a lot. I'll have maybe a glass or two on Fridays. and I don't really drink enough water. Those are why i think i might not have diabetes. But our family has a history of it. I want to get tested for it but i just dont have the money right now.
Are there any symptoms i can look out for? And what should i not eat/drink if i do think i have it?

Get tested as soon as you can. It could be simple dehydration, but could be something much worse! My diabetic son has leg cramps often!
