You should defrag your computer. It will help it run better. You can also download some anti-viruses..or find some in the store that don't cost that much. I know it costs. But its better to have an updated anti-virus to keep your computer safe. ^^ Its also good to not run too many programs at once. Additionally, you should download anti-virus and a spyware killer. Lavasoft Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy. Those two would be great. Hope this helps ^^. Worst comes to worst you may have to reinstall but that's ONLY if there's a virus that cannot be deleted..and that causes WAY too many problems..but I suggest not taking that step. It will cause a lot of busyness. So get anti-virus, spyware fighter, defrag the computer, and keep it from running too much at once (like don't open too many things). Wish u the best. :]]
for a good antivirus get panda it is like 30 dollars but it is the best in my opinion it detects alot of viruses and it dosn't slow down your computer very much
do a few scans with it it should remove all your viruses then i suggest spending like a hour maybe sifting through your programs list deleting stuff u dont want anymore i guess you could try a disk defragmentation i do that from time to time but it probably wouldnt help much maybe update some of your drivers and/or lower your graphics settings but you probably dont want lower graphics
Get some anti-virus on it or running slow will be the least of your problems.

Those 3 together will use less resources than norton.Run full scans with all after you install them,I bet your computer will be much faster.
u can try start then run type msconfig press enter look for startup unck all boxes press ok restart comp ...also del cookies temp files and old prog u dont need then do a defrag ...but do get a antivirus like avg and spyware prog or used google to find free prog...good luck..
